Your last will & testament
 

Has anyone filled out a will & testament including your business requirements? Does your business continue with a work or life partner, friend or family members?

What happens when your family clean your home & move your belongings?

Death comes to us all, hopefully not for quite a while. But at some point it does happen & our pcs, harddrives, filing cabinets, drawers & cupboards have adult content falling out of them. Who would cleans your belongings? Your sisters or brothers, children or parents (depending on how young we die). They have to come across all of this porn. Skeletons in the closet :winkwink:

I am going to write a will out shortly, as I have personal belongings that I wish for certain family members & wish for our program & business to resume trading. We have our own webmaster, but he is the similar age to myself & Natalie. So probably shall all hit the sky at the similar time in life....

Who & what do you have planned with organising your death with servers, sites, content, models, affiliates & all the other sections of the business your run & the job?

Just give all to your wife, that's what I did.

No skeletons. People that matter know anyway.

Hmmm, and if we pass on together or her first? Maybe its not so much for affiliates but program owners have all those affiliates to worry about if their server goes down.

My neighbour is a doctor. She's seen worse.

Main position is affiliate stuff - mostly blogs.

I've had people use my computer and look through my bookmarked sites and documents folders and ask funny questions but mostly I don't really give a shit what people think of me and anybody that can't cope with that isn't really your friend anyway.

Do you have family, kids, sometimes you need to write if you dont want some people to get your $ and you dont want that

I suppose with the amount of tapes I have around the place & some of our material, our neighbours wouldnt have guessed to see Natalie fucked by 4 or 5 guys & then myself another woman underneath me... So maybe slightly different scenarios. However, you may have children 1 day or maybe it could be your niece or nephew sorting out your bits & pieces while your sister or brother helps... Im really trying to think of a very decent strategem. My family know about our business, but I dont actually want my father or mother, sister or children to see my wife with her legs wide open.

my husband and I are willing the business to each other. If we pass away at the same time, we hope our son will continue the business without actually working on it (hiring someone to take care of things, etc.)
If he decides not to, oh well, his loss! In any case, our main inheritance to our son will be in brick and mortar real estate more than in websites.

it all goes to my girl (property, belongings, cars, etc) except my sportscar (willed to my dad), and some cash to my dad, my brother, my cousin and my best friend. if we both die in a plane crash or whatever, my dad is second in line after her.

Great way to look at it. If your friends and family truly know and appreciate you as a person, it shouldn't matter.

Similar plans to myself & Natalie. We do have children, 1 of which is in his mid teens, he has already said about his mate wanting to work with us, although, he doesnt know exactly what we do, just has an idea its in adult content.

I would like my children to follow the business on, & as you say, with a people actually dealing with the hands on work as to put it :winkwink:
