Are you a slacker? (New site I made)
I wanted a good project to work on to learn JQuery, so to kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone I came up with a funny little idea and knocked out a site in the process..
Goal Setting with Slackk | Reach your goals or we embarrass you

Think of Slackk as another one of the many organization / virtual post-it services out there, except with a twist. You can optionally specify whether or not you want your goal tied to either your facebook and/or twitter account, along with a required interval period in which you must login and check off at least one to-do item. Failure to check off any of your to-do items before your interval period runs out (daily, weekly, or monthly), will result in an automatic facebook and/or twitter message sent from your account on behalf of Slackk.
These messages are random and embarrasing. Your friends & followers will see this message coming from your account(s). The message will also contain a link to a summary of your goal and why the message was sent.
The purpose of this feature is to add an extra incentive to help you stick to your goal(s). It?s also there for those who would like to include their friends & followers on their latest endeavors.

Thought I'd share it :) BTW JQuery absolutely rocks.. was surprisingly easy to learn and develop the interface how I envisioned. |
