when you return to GFY, how far do you scan down the thread list?
 

like when you wake up, get going, drink your morning beer, iron the McDonald's uniform, get crack-a-lackin' on the comp, etc. fire up GFY..... how far back do read?

i typically only scan down about 3 finger scrolls on the first page initially, then never go beyond the fold the rest of the day. but this isn't unique to GFY for me either.... that's pretty much all the scanning/catching-up i'll do on any of the sites i visit during the day.

I stop scrolling after I see 10 epassporte threads.

Depends on how long it has been since I last checked. If it has only been a few hours, I don't go past the first page. If I haven't checked in a day or two because I was busy filming or away from a computer for 24 hours or longer I may check the first two or three pages until I see old threads.

I read down the first page. Scanning for keywords and also user names.

Back when GFY moved quicker it seems like there'd be 2 pages of posts to catch up on. Now I don't think I go past the 1st page.

I don't scroll - scan the first 20 or so threads then CTRL click the ones I might read and close the main gfy page.

until i stop seeing red folders

i do the first whole page opening them in new tabs. once they're all read/looked at/etc I get to work

I scan the first page for stuff I haven't viewed yet. I check my subscribed list after that.

Usually like two pages very briefly but I'll rather have a short chat with someone to catch up on events than to read GFY for an hour
