Selling our solo-girl website, never marketed properly...
 

A little over a year ago we created a nice solo-girl website. I have a large webdesign/marketing firm and my buddy had access to an 18yr old girl and well, the rest is history.

Things went well at first because our girl was pushing the site and getting us members. Problem is that we both didn't have the time to devote to marketing the site. We never even did simple things like take advantage of ccbill's referral system to get all the index/gallery sites to link to us and get exposure!

I was referred to this board by someone in the industry and really great to reach out to you guys "in the biz". Long story short I am looking to sell the site outright along with all content, etc -- OR -- looking for a partner that thinks they can market the site effectively to start bringing in good money. We still have access to the girl and can make new content if necessary.

Ok, had a bit of interest and here's an answer to a general question I'm getting: "How much content do you have?"... Ans: Online, on the site, we have 19 photo sets and 21 video sets. See attached PDF's for a preview of those. There are about 4 to 6 photo and video sets digitized ready to go that aren't on the site, we were going to put those up to move content around and keep the site fresh. I have 15+ hours of all the video shot on HD video tapes (which is all the content already on the site plus you can pull more sets from that).

so in total there's 23-25 sets and 15 hours of video? no one really cares about the other stuff..

so is that correct amount of content?

Picture sets: approx 25, Video sets: approx 25. The original HD tapes have all that video content, and you can probably pull a few more sets off those tapes too.

I get that some of you don't need the site and whatnot but the person I would want to sell to would probably need the whole thing. You can shoot more video with the model and then grow the site using our software to other solo-girl sites too. Just make an offer guys... I need to get specfic offers from you guys to figure out what needs to be done.

Anyone think they can take this site that has NO exposure online and help me start getting signups? I mean we don't even have the simple ccbill galleries or any affiliates pushing people to the site, so there's no exposure! I don't have the time for it... but I'm sure one of you "experts" can get this going in a snap. I think most solo-girl sites bring in a somewhat consistent revenue (of course it flucuates based on girl) so if you guys can take a look and let me know how much to expect based on what you can do, then this could work out well for the both of us.

So on another thread (which you guys have probably seen) I am considering "staying in the game" and getting someone to help me get exposure and keep the site.

Here's an estimate I came up with from talking to people: Estimating 2 sales/day (average of 1-3 sales/day estimate people have been giving me for an average solo-girl site) at $24.95 x 30 days/mo = $1497/mo. Now say 50% of that goes to affiliates so end up with approx $750/mo. So over the course of a year that'll be $9,000.

And even in a "for sale" situation, like any business being sold, I assume the sales price will be based off gross sales projection.
