Its bad? Yes its fuckin bad.
I was quit & calm. Reading but not writing much from last many days. I requested for a wire ***** five figures 11 days ago to an Australian bank. After couple of days when I didn't get a written approval. I ring them to know the status for my wire request. They said my request was approved & I have to wait 7 to 10 days to see money in my bank. I said ok.... Its fair enough. Its one of their predefined terms. Now after 10 days I see money still sitting in my epass account. I went to the contact us page to find the phone number. I see this: Code:
We are currently experiencing an interruption of phone service at our Customer I was like WTF :Oh crap Send them a message 911 to know whats going on. I got this message from them: Code:

Visa Virtual is dead----> followed by ICQ services & answers are dead-----> followed by Phone lines are dead-----------> followed by Where the hell this all is leading towards? Are they just buying time to get away from all this shit with our money by giving us false hope every now & then. :( I am a kind of man who believe in positives but: :Oh crap |
it is certainly looking bad... im glad i only lost a few hundred, but even still it hurts because epassporte was so damn easy, especially for us Australians / internationals

yeah, you can see it that way. if one was seeing it from positive perspective one would say they are stalling with wires because they want to solve things first and hope the people would not request wires once everything is working again...
but yes, with phones down not it is really hard to stay positive now... |

I requested a significant 5 figure wire to an AU bank account also. It got processed, then a few days ago (some week or more after my transfer) I was informed that ePassporte sent the money to "Standard Chartered Bank" who refuse to work with ePass. So I was forced to set up a new bank account (went with CBA) and restart the wire transfer. I was waiting for a few days, thought something was up.
If you don't mind me asking, which bank are you with? It's possible the funds have been held up. Have you had a successful wire before? |
Their response clearly states 7-10 working days. If it went out on the 9th US time i count 6 working days with 7 being Monday US time right?

Indeed. Exchange sucks compared to not so long ago. I am yet to get it. I got the notice about it failing on Friday afternoon. Had to open the new bank account this morning.

Which bank were you with DatingGold, if you don't mind me asking? I know certain banks have preferences for conversions. Some of those intermediary banks don't like epass. Woops, maybe you're not from AU ;)

from what YOU SAY 1. Still 10 WORKING DAYS didn't pass 2. You still got the money in your account. Its not like its sent, money is deducted, you havent got it, and they dont answer your calls. so relax, drink water, you will be ok. Good luck |
Not only are Saturday and Sunday not working days, but Monday hasn't really even started yet. So it's been more like 7 working days.

10 working days or not, that should be a standard message you get with wire transfers and it tells you the estimate time when money will be in your bank, not when they leave Epass ( are actually sent ). So 2-3 more days are added AFTER the leave Epass.
Don't worry 10 working days will pass and money will not be in your bank because they only sent out a handful of wires since this whole thing started ( to very well known people aka the BROs ) I'm in the same boat as you and probably many others with a massive amount trapped in there and a wire hanging since this started Phone support or not, wires are not going out at the moment |
