I can't live without Quicksilver. It makes launching apps easier than using spotlight, you can "train" it to launch apps based on the things you type e.g. "x" for "excel" etc.

Quicksilver stopped being developed quite some time ago. I find Launchbar the best at the moment, and I used qs for years.

Couldn't live without it. First thing I install on any new mac.

You do know that MAC in capitals specifically refers to a MAC address. The computer Apple Macintosh is abbreviated to Mac.
