So I read this blurb about backlash over Miley Cyrus' new video, "Who Owns My Heart." It was described as:


The backlash over Miley Cyrus' new body-grinding, panty-sporting, sexed up music video has already begun -- with a powerful parents organization ripping Miley for turning her back on young fans.

The video in question is "Who Owns My Heart?" -- in which a blindfolded Miley (who's still 17-years-old BTW) can be seen writhing around on a bed in her underwear ... before entering some other sexually charged situations.

Am I just too jaded? I thought this video was VERY TAME. From the descriptions, I was expecting some shocking, or at least boner-inducing scenes. I got nothing out of that video except that fucking beat stuck in my head.

I'm really thinking the PTC and other close-minded, up-tight assholes are just making shit up to complain about, and if they pick easy targets like Katy Perry and Miley, they'll succeed in their censorship attempts, which can only snowball into bigger shit.

Tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this "parental backlash" is directed at a fairly tame video.

The problem is Miley's fan base are the 10-14 year olds, and yes folks, that video is sexually charged for that age group. She still does her Disney show Hannah Montana and that is where the problem lies...the little ones are her fans and obviously they are going to try and see the video and that videos is no Hannah Montana stuff. Being in her panties prior to her 18th birthday is seen as a BIG no no with parents groups. Like it or hate it, they knew it would happen.
