I think RCN is in part responsible for your headache. It was their job to make sure this would not happen and to have daily backups avail. The fact that they are nice people isn't an excuse.

Your sites, are they honest sites or are they tube sites?

If they're the former, then yeah I can understand your anger. Your best bet, in that case, is to move them to a clean hosting company as soon as you can.

jawanda times like these you have to just laugh and look for the positive I was paying over 3 times more than I am paying now for the site I moved from RCN. I REALLY feel your pain I am going through it as well. One thing I am very happy with the exRCN sites are only about 5% of my sites One thing I have done from the start is spread my sites about and thankfully they only had a small amount of my site. I am kicking myself though because I did not have the sites backed up myself so I learnt a big lesson there bloody hell will the learning never end... In this biz when you get hit you work twice as hard but always remember when it is good you play ten times as hard
