What happened to JupiterHosting?
 

Are they still around? Website is not working: www.jupiterhosting.com

They shut my server off with no notice and would not allow me to get my data off of them after the acquisition

I remember when they went thru all the free server space they gave out, I had a domain on one of them, but I backed mine up

I'm sure Joe was. I guess I should also mention that Joe also provided this server to me for free for a few yrs, even after I parted ways with the company.

Yup, I guess they are getting nice traffic from GFY, even I clicked it.

I remember they tried to extort money from Boneprone and he went to court with them or something.

Wow, seems like the adult industry is just vanishing into thin air, one piece at a time.

So why does GFY still have the text link in the footer? Thought they would remove that.

They are still hosted at JupiterHosting / Navisite ... however since the site doesn't load anymore, probably should be removed now.

They were always trying to cause problems for me too, always sending mail and calling my home in USA trying to blackmail me

When I tried to move away from their servers, they said no, and wouldn't allow me to have access to the servers to make the site transfers to other hosting, basically they were holding my sites hostage

I still remember the guy that con'd me into signing with them, tell me "with jupiterhosting you WILL sleep well at night, EVERY night"

....then 2 weeks later, I am on vacation, and my sites are down for 4 days in a row :(

These guys deserved to be sued and put out of business

JH tried to fuck me as well, but I had everything documented and all my ducks in a row.

Sure I could change the link at the bottom and send them traffic, but then I would in turn send them business. No THANKS!

If it were up to me GFY would NOT be hosted there. But it is not my choice.

joe is happy though.

I thought this acquisition was done a couple years ago.

I remember they were Jupiter Hosting then got renamed to XFR Networks or something similar.

Tanked nonetheless.
