im still running apache 1.3.42

what are the pros and cons of moving to 2.

Of the top of my head... security.*

*I'm not a SysAdmin, but my techs will tell you I like to play one on the InterWebs.

checked with the guru

#1 - 1.3 isn't supported anymore
#2 - 2.2 is faster
#3 - Many modules aren't supporting 1.3 anymore

the only reason to use 1.x is if you're using openbsd's audited apache. Otherwise 2.x is much better.

move to 2
faster, more secure, more modules to use...

Version two simply beacuse version one is obsolete,and some scripts wont work with version one.
