I started watching the cam but turned it off after 10 mins. I wanted to blame the shittiness on the cam but its looking like that had nothing to do with it. It was horrifyingly mediocre at best.

The music, especially, sucked, and I thought Hans Zimmer was world renowned. Ironic for a movie that deals with memory, you want to quickly remove it from your memory after seeing it.

The movie is excellent and the film makers and artists deserve applause and healthy returns on their investment. Any idiot out there who denies himself the cinema experience because he's too cheap-assed to spend $15.00 or is so much of a thieving crook that he has to steal the $15.00 away from the investors who put their money in is most definitely too fucking stupid to get the movie in the first place.

It's actually still playing in the theatres here in Montreal. It's REALLY good. It's directed by Chris Nolan, the guy behind Dark Knight and other good movies. It's worth checking out on the big screen. I saw it in IMAX and loved it. I'm going to buy the Blu Ray version when it comes out.

Buy the dvd. It comes out in a couple of weeks. You cheap bastards.

I have been to the movie theater maybe twice in the past 2 years, but I guarantee I have spent much more than you have Bluray discs. I would much rather sit in my own home theater than go sit in a crowded one with nasty popcorn and over priced drinks. Choosing not to go out to the movies has nothing to do with being a cheap ass.

tinseltown (imax) is crowded but the seats are spacious and the popcorn is delicous. The drinks are overpriced but i sneak in a few bottles of snapple....i do smoke some overpriced weed before i go in ...god dam overpriced movies ;)

Well if they couldn't tell the difference between "filed" and "filled" then yah, they're probably not good business minds.

That is why Hollywood is still making huge profits. You may be able to steal the movie but you can not recreate the cinema experience, and that is what people are willing to pay for.

Unfortunately, that doesn't really apply to porn.

It will be standard for all TV's to be hooked up online.

Networks are currently moving many of their programs to viewable streams.

Networks will be teaming up with sites to be part of packages available online.

Cable, DVD's etc... will be a thing of the past.

I think the movie is great and the music from Hans Zimmer is just epic

Not seen Inception but the difference watching something on a big screen where you can feel immersed in it to watching on a TV is worth paying for on a lot of films.

I haven't seen it yet, but my husband saw it and says it's one of the best he ever saw. I'm so renting it this weekend!

Awesome movie. Don't watch it with your girlfriend if she's a hot blond. You'll be exhausted trying to explain whats going on. I had to take a 4hr nap afterwards.

We go to the movies occasionally, and we have a self imposed rule that we will not go on a Friday night, because that is when most of the dickhead teenagers seem to be there.
It was probably worse in the town in Florida where we lived, but it is teen central on Friday nights, and every other motherfucker has a Nextel, and they have to talk all the way through the movie. beep, beep, beep.

best time to go to the movies is in the morning, when the theaters are empty and u can watch the film peacefully, without cell phones going off all over, assholes having a chat next to you, fat bastards shoveling food in their mouths non-stop, having to inhale other peoples farts, and so on.

Let me put it this way..

If you like movies and like to be easily swept away by a movie with good story, acting, effects, sound, music etc, then you owe it to yourself to see a movie in a theatre. For $15 you're treated to a wild story presented on a 7 story iMax screen in a bazillion watts of great sound. If the movie is in DLP or Digital IMax, even better because you're watching the movie in a fully digital, completely non-compressed format and is a real treat for the eyes and ears.

If you're the stay-at-home person thats cool too. I can just into a movie at home almost as much as I can at a threatre. A licensed Blu-Ray movie is butter to your High-Def TV and sound system. You're lost in the story, enjoying the flick and happy all for $5.00. Again, happy artists means more future content.

Downloaders, take note:

Don't think for a second that you're seeing 1/100th of a movie that was recorded by some asshole with a camcorder as he sat in a threatre. The image and sound quality is nothing. Buying a bootleg DVD supports criminals, not the film makers. Buying this shit only means you get more shit in the future.

Getting ripped movies online is just as bad because the thieves compress an already compressed movie down to nothing in order to get it out to you. The bandwidth required by blu-ray to produce 1024p lines at 24 Bits per pixel and at 60 frames per second with 5.1 Channels of discreet surround sound is about 3,000 megabits per second. DVD's in the old 480i format needed 5 to 8 mbps. You will never get anything even close to this bitrate watching a downloaded ripped movie regardless of what stupid compression format they used. (I'm not talking about download speed, I'm talking about video bitrates). Compressed video and audio looks and sounds like shit compared to native, uncompressed goodness. The amount of data required to present the image and sound is important. The more data you have, the better the image quality and the richer the sound.

If you like movies, you are doing a serious disservice to yourself watching ripped movies. You aren't seeing or hearing shit.
