You can use your checking account, thats what i do for both full tilt and stars, I've never had an issue

That was fun. I would gladly play again but would love to get more people involved.

My personal opinion... Friday night is not the greatest night. People often go out on Friday night's or have other live poker parties. I'm also not sure about a $22 buy in... for a more serious poker player, that's fine, but for the more casual person it's a little steep. I think we'll need to attract the more casual player type if we want to get a larger turnout.

I wouldn't mind trying again on a Monday or Tuesday night with a $5-10 buy in and see what kind of turnout we get.

And don't get me wrong, that was a lot of fun. Thanks for putting it together.

A 50/50 chance of getting your money back isn't horrible though ;)

& thanks for organising as well. Maybe a $5 buy in would attract more people yeah, I can't really do that time during the week though, it's work hours. Not that that matters if if means more people for you guys.. it's not like it can't alternate etc.. I'm sure we'll work it out.

Actually that's a great idea. A rotating schedule so both Eastern and Western Hemisphere's can play. I would most likely play both, LOL.

I saw the thread in time and would gladly have joined if it had been either a Poker Stars or Party poker tournament, simply because I have accounts there. I didn't care enough to open up a new account just for one tournament. But if this becomes a regular thing, and most other people do Full Tilt, well, then I might consider it. :)

How many people showed this time? I might be interested next time - anything special to know being in the US signing up to FullTilt? I don't think I have an account there yet as I haven't played poker online in a long ass time.

Also, I second the notion that Friday night is probably not the best time for everyone. Usually I'm not too busy Friday nights but a lot are. Sunday nights are usually good time for something like this if it doesn't go way late.

There were six people. I'm liking the idea of Sunday night, it does make sense.

I was still in the office or otherwise I would have been there. I'll try and make the next one.

Hopefully it's a little easier to deposit money into FT these days.
