One Hundred Naked Citizens: One Hundred Leaked Body Scans

Quote:

At the heart of the controversy over "body scanners" is a promise: The images of our naked bodies will never be public. U.S. Marshals in a Florida Federal courthouse saved 35,000 images on their scanner. These are those images.

A Gizmodo investigation has revealed 100 of the photographs saved by the Gen 2 millimeter wave scanner from Brijot Imaging Systems, Inc., obtained by a FOIA request after it was recently revealed that U.S. Marshals operating the machine in the Orlando, Florida courthouse had improperly-perhaps illegally-saved images of the scans of public servants and private citizens.

Exactly. It's one big scam.

These scans could help discover whether someone is hiding something up his/her ass. The scans are quite amazing accuracy.

candyflip 11-17-2010 07:55 AM

I read an article about the companies making and supplying these machines. They've all got former Senators and other politicians on their boards.

One of them was long time NY senator Al D'amato. This is nothing more than a scam to line the pockets of friends and associates.

This is why I started "Operation Up Your Ass"...

its a fun game where you place silly or weird objects up your ass before you go to the airport and see how long you can stump security while they try to figure out what you have in there...

I read an article yesterday about the implementation of the TSA. The man that started the law that implemented the TSA says that the law only required airports to have TSA screenings for two years after 9/11. After that, airports can effectively "opt-out."

I don't expect any airport to kick out the TSA... but it makes me think that if enough pressure was applied to the airports, changes would start taking shape. Same with the airlines. Go after the airlines and the airports, they will have no choice but to go after DHS.

NJ lawmakers came out today and said that your constitutional rights do not end at the airport and the actions of the TSA were also breaking local laws.

That's it, it was New Jersey I was reading about. I expect other states to jump on board pretty quick.

It's really too bad passenger trains suck the big fat donkey dick in this country because the US government owns Amtrac and it's illegal to create any other passenger trains... I would totally opt for the extra travel time in many cases if they had Internet access in my rail car...

THEN we'd start to see some changes... When people can vote with their dollars for another system of transportation and airlines start to tank THEN we'll have the airlines on the side of the people... oh what do you know, that takes a freer market <.<

I just wonder if people don't see the national progression we have seen over the past 10 years in airport security.

Shoes, metal detectors, water, x-ray machines...

Nobody can possibly say with a straight face that there isn't another method coming up that goes even beyond what we see right now. After each attack there is a "quick remedy" in place that most likely does very little to prevent anything. Everyone jokes about this... but what happens when there is a cavity attack? Somebody shoves a bomb in their ass... their buddy shoves a detonator in their ass... bomb goes boom.

I'm sure there will be some that love the idea of getting their ass explored, but I usually save special time that for my boyfriend.

Is there a league table of previous winners so I know how creative wins? I wouldn't want to waste time sewing a bee into a mouse and sewing the mouse into a gerbil if i'm only going to come third.

I'm all for this as long as any person or organization caught abusing it in any way has to:

1. Pay $10,000 per improperly handled photo to the people involved.

2. Has their own hi-res nude photo published on the TSA website for one year with their name and location as a caption along with a description of what they did wrong.

Let's extend the above to the supervisor on duty when the violation occurs as well.

Seems fair to me! :2 cents:

Tom_PM 11-17-2010 09:28 AM

Without them leaking out, the public will never desensitize. People will bitch until they decide that it must be normal, and that to bitch about it is to be the odd man out.

Yea seriously! I remember when they first starting reporting about these scanners that they all claimed that images were NOT saved, etc. Now all these leaks, etc. Buncha fucking liars.

Thank you Bush for taking away America's freedom without them realizing it. Well played sir, well damn played.

eroticsexxx 11-17-2010 04:09 PM

Simple solution: Let's take all security measures out of airports for an entire year.

That would definitely prove who is right or wrong regarding the safety of the American public.

I think that this would be a great idea actually. :winkwink:

Someone needs to gather a group of people together and just go to the airport completely fucking naked. Then opt out of the scan. :)
