Did you know that Wordpress.com

doesnt allow any affilaite type of blogs? no advertisement at all. No, seriously, what's the fuck?

Okay, time to get my domain then.

Btw, since I started doing mainstream blogs I feel lile WTF every time, fucking rules hit the fun on each step.

Agent 488 11-17-2010 02:49 PM

how they going to know.

PornMD 11-17-2010 02:55 PM

Dunno why anyone would ever do a blog on Wordpress.com or Blogspot anyways. Your own domain or not at all.

I agree. I wouldn't spend even 5 minutes for building something that next day may not be mine.

Fat Panda 11-17-2010 03:50 PM

use your own domains and host your own blogs...thats it

rogueteens 11-17-2010 04:01 PM

i dont think they ever allowed aff links, ccbill links for example, have been blocked for ages.

alias 11-17-2010 04:03 PM

At least link it to your domain once you set that up.

fatfoo 11-17-2010 04:08 PM

You say Wordpress.com doesn't allow any affiliate type of blogs. That's unfortunate.

alias 11-17-2010 04:12 PM

Couldn't you use redirection sites like bit.ly or are they banned too, I don't fuck with free blogs or site hosts etc.

i use bit.ly pro, i use my own domain for short urls, but its mainly just for twitter, since i can use it with tweetdeck.

HomerSimpson 11-17-2010 06:34 PM

tried hubpages, squidoo.com

had great run with hubpages... until they removed all adult pages/hubs...

stocktrader23 11-17-2010 06:37 PM

Domains are $2 to $10 a year and hosting is $2 to $10 per month on a medium sized site.

If you feel the need to skip these minuscule fees for your BUSINESS then you should reconsider being in business at all.

pamon 11-17-2010 08:04 PM

they haven't allowed it ever. where have you been? lol

icymelon 11-17-2010 08:21 PM

scared me I thought you were saying that you cant put advertisements on blogs using wordpress

yes you can, I have a old wordpress.com site with thousands of pages related to thailand and when it came time to monetize the traffic I used tinyurl for affiliate links. works fine.

ShellyCrash 11-17-2010 08:49 PM

I used wordpress.com blogs for a very niched product a few years back. The reason to use wordpress.com is not so much that someone is too cheap to buy their own hosted domain but wordpress.com is a community in itself that has alot of internal traffic and linking. You just put it up and you're done.

Made over $75k with only about 5 blogs in roughly about 3 or 4 months that they were up. Updated each once every 2 to 3 days.

I can read your question but I do designs and NEVER tried doing webmastering EVER. So, what makes you inner smile shining thru? That fact that someone doing graphic design can be not that techy as you are? I have never stated that I was a webmaster, OKAY?

wordpress.com also has high status in the SE's. Blogs on there get ranked easily with a bit of care. Much quicker than they will on the average newly built domain.
It's all good backlinking material.
You don't add affiliate links, you just carefully add links to your own domains.

TheDA 11-18-2010 04:23 AM

I hear a lot of stuffs about Wordpress.

How do I get a wordpress blog but have my name on the website address? Not ..........wordpress.com. That is rubbish.

Really??? Thats a boat load for that. Please do share with :)

$5 submissions 12-01-2010 04:06 PM

Plus they fuck the link outs

CyberHustler 12-01-2010 04:14 PM

You can use free blog hosts like that for a lot of beneficial things that I really shouldn't have to explain... if you don't already know then fuck it.

Agent 488 12-01-2010 04:15 PM

use free hosts for link pyramids and some free hosts pass on authority and do not need much effort to rank for microniche sites.

Argos88 12-01-2010 04:25 PM

yes I knew that.

Davy 12-01-2010 06:11 PM

Blogspot is going to shut down your blog if it gets too commercial.

You may be surprised, but - Russian Brides :)

The blogs were all hand written, unique content. Topics varied from trophy wives, dating tips, to celeb skin. There are a ton of topics that you can use to link back to russian women. From current events to Mila Jovovich and Mila Kunis.

It's a very niche market with customers who- when paired with the right site- love to spend spend spend!

At the time it was litterally like shooting fish in a barrel. Write an article, throw some sexy russian babes thumbs at the bottom and stuff it with hot tags. I flew under the radar for a long time. Because I didn't abuse wordpress too hard I was able to enjoy quite the run, but once they locked on they were shutting me down pretty fast and furious.

There are, shall we say "innovations", that could have perpetuated that cash flow. This work was all done by hand, no bots or tools. The blogs were written for profit, and maybe in that regard were outside wordpress's terms, but no security was ever breached.

I'm actually about to stretch out for the night, but if anyone wants to pick my brain about it on ICQ I'm free anytime. I'm happy to help.
