Anybody know how I can speed up the loading of the fonts?
When I click the font tool, it always takes way too long before I can continue work.

TTT for my threads.

Yes, but you may not like it.

To turn off the font preview:

1. Choose Photoshop > Preferences > Type.

2. Deselect Font Preview Size.

You can also remove fonts you don't use.

These are interesting ways to speed up Photoshop: never save image previews, use less cache. Of course, the program that uses less memory will run faster.

Everything seems quite a bit snappier for me since I did it. What OS/PS version are you using?

selena 11-30-2010 07:05 AM

I made the adjustments, but haven't used it enough to tell if there is a difference or not.
