frankly it does matter. and age means nothing
its all about the name. without a good name you are twisting in the wind. you do understand some names have been registered for years prior to current ownership of any domainer. ARCHIVE.ORG can help you with that info. any domain name investor will tell you straight up we have hundreds even thousands of domains and you cannot develop them all. and when one of the best domainers in the world is selling a short domain for high six figures and you own the .org extension of that domain name you have skin in the game. plus .net has dropped in value. it has taken a dive ever since the new gtlds came out maybe before their release. that is common knowledge in the domaining community. age means nothing if you have Pigeon Shit as the domain king calls it and he is right.
