How much traffic can SubReddit generate these days?

Actually that price is crazy high for 16k members... and 7k page views for the month wont get you any traffic.

I'm interested if it's an ideal name. That could be the value there.

They are working on a sub for me right now, 2 months, 21k users with about 12,000 pages views PER DAY! 350,000 a month. Growing 300+ users a day. So buying a dead sub isnt worth it with a kick ass service like that available!!

So if the above is a below average name, it's worth $50.

If its MILFPorn or MILFGifs or something great it's worth more than $250 to me. Most great Subreddit names already taken.

@AlexxxSBG - Traffic to my website or affiliate? Both the subreddit and account mostly promote affiliate pages (LosPollos & Chaturbate) and these each receive a handful of visits each day. I can say LosPollos has converted 1:21 steadily over the past 6 months alone and on its own has made $42.54 in revenue during that period. Chaturbate is a bit harder for me to track.

@CS3D - It sounds to me like you don't build subreddits, so you probably aren't the person anyone should be listening to when it comes to them. You use someone else to build your subreddits (who apparently charges $275/month for 10-12k joins) and you have no idea where those are coming from or if they're even real. I can at least gaurantee all of the people who have joined my subreddit are real and it was grown with manual work done only by myself. You think this subreddit can't get 300+ users per day? That alone tells me you have no idea how to build a subreddit or how yours are being built. Let me tell you - the name has nothing to do with it and all it requires is some manual work which can take a few hours per day. If I were promoting it daily like you're paying someone else to do, this exact same subreddit could easily be growing by just as much as yours, if not more. Unlike what you're paying for, I can also show the new owner how to do this and rather than paying someone $275/month for it, they could do it themselves each day. Personally, I spend my time doing other things and just let new content on this subreddit be mostly generated and promoted by existing members.

Let me be clear that this is NOT a "dead" subreddit and I would like to hear CS3D's (the person who doesn't even build their own subreddits) definition of what a "dead" subreddit is. This subreddit gets new members daily without having to do anything and new posts get plenty of upvotes, comments, and other activity. It isn't nearly as big as some of the others out there, but you can easily continue growing this yourself or pay someone else to do it for you.

Prices listed are always negotiable, there was no "firm" put into my initial post. However, $50 offers won't be accepted. You can do like CS3D and pay someone $275/month for 10-12k members, or get this one with over 16k members for around $250 and learn how to easily continue growing this one (and any others you start) free of charge.

Im sorry you got so butt hurt - but the reality is a 7000 view per month subreddit is maybe 1k-2k uniques a month?? That is as DEAD as DEAD can possibly be.

I have a subreddit I started 11 days ago. I post 2x daily on it. And it only has 820 members so far and its done 17,000 views in 11 days. https://prnt.sc/222qva5 So why would anyone pay $250 for something completely dead - unless like I said it had a great name. Because if youre starting from nothing like they would be with your dead subreddit - why not create the exact one you want and pay nothing.

How do you know they are real, legit and organic subscribers? Making that lot per day seems a bit unrealistic...

Because I can see the huge amount of work they do. All the content. All the crossposts. Amazing work.

And if you use the OPs logic.. he made $42 over 6 months for 42,000 page views (7k x 6months) you can easily see how a real subreddit can generate income/traffic.

And as far as growth goes.. they do grow organically. The OP claims he doesnt have to post in his 16k subreddit - but there cant be much user added content or it would have more traffic.

Absolutely. My subs combined grow about 3,000 users on a slow day, 5,000 on a good day now. Up to just over 500k total across all my subs.

As far as what Im making... when I had 100k total I wasnt making much tbh. But with the user growth and now 400,000+ page views a day its enough to be satisfied. Ill leave it at that. Working to build more tubes to monetize and send traffic to. Adding people working for me to post. The more new content at different times of the day, the more traffic. Just hired another poster a few days ago. Want to double my current totals.

@CS3D - It's amazing that you can call something "dead" and "dormant" when you haven't even seen it. Also, do your subreddits auto approve content? Mine do not. Once again, you could enable auto approval and content would post for everyone instantly, thus creating more activity. I choose not to do that. As I initially stated - you really don't know what you're talking about and it almost sounds like you're trying to hijack my thread to promote your own services. I don't post twice per day on my subreddits - I post significantly less. Once again, anyone can achieve exactly what you're achieving if they want to spend the time on it. This is not a 100k subreddit, but it's not dead or dormant. It's growing and could easily continue growing for someone who wants to continue the project and promotion on it, which is exactly why I'm selling it.

If you want to sell your own services or subreddit, start your own thread. It's a simple as that really...

Your subreddit is worth a few bucks, nothing more.

If it has a good name, Id still buy it though! But judging by how defensive you are, I cant imagine its a good one. Could it possibly be as bad as the guy who tried to sell me a misspelled "Amatuer" subreddit?

Post up a screen shot of your stats for all too see including all these new members. And let someone else be the judge.

Actually, I owned 11 of them, and sold them out as soon as I saw a drop of making money with them, and with Reddit's harsh rules and possible violations, I gave up... I don't like gambling much with something that once was a "thing" to get some serious traffic and possible income
