Some sites from which I buy links have been affected by Google's March 2024 core update

I'm a silent buyer of a lot of links here, but something happened when Google rolled out their massive core update this March. Some of the sites I buy links from are affected, so I don't have any option but to request to pull my links, ensuring that my site doesn't inherit the penalties from Google.

To check if a site is affected by Google's March core updates, simply type 'site:domain.com' into the search bar. If the site is completely de-indexed or now only shows around 1,000 search results instead of its usual higher count (e.g., about 100k), it may have been affected

Tbh,Google mostly just ignores spammy backlinks. It’s unlikely to penalise you, it will simply discount any links you have from those sites. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Just put the domain into semrush. If the organic has dropped off a cliff then it's been affected
