Promoting functional yet inactive paysites?
Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to this business, still working on my first site trying to tweak it to get some SEO and sells. I have a question. I have found some fairly good paysites to promote, that are very similar to my niche and of which I love the content.. (more specifically, gagsgirls). However, I don't think these guys update with new content at all.. which leads to my question, is it advisable to promote inactive sponsors? Do they tend to sell or does the market avoid them? Thanks |

Yea, from the customer's perspective thats no good (even if there is some nice content there). Imagine signing up for a site just to find out that its abandoned. You would get no revshare of course and im sure the sign up ratio's would be pretty bad.

This will not retain your traffic.. it also is a good sign of them being on the way out - if you wish to minimize risk, ensure your signing up to a CCBILL program and are paid directly.
