How do you get a new site from 0 to something substantial? SEO is for shit, since without traffic you don't rank no matter what you build. The cheapest real paid traffic is still pretty high. If that's the answer, how much do you get and for how long? And from whom?

I've been stumbling through this learning a bit here and a bit there, but the reliable traffic I have gotten I have no idea how I got it. Pathetic, huh?

So advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Content is king, thats first rule. Then get some backlinks, and wait.....patience and natural link building is the best. But i can only report my own experience.

SEO ROX - first content - try get some natural traffic from little keywords, without backlinks. When your domain get some power start backlinking.

Work hard on the backlinks and content ,is only way for free traffic .
