Licenses: Does "Resale Rights" Mean I Can Sell Clips To Joe Jerkoff or To Other Webmasters?

Does selling the content that you buy as clips to web surfers count as "resale?"

Aren't most of us using this content for pay websites where we generate an income based on the content? Do "Resell" rights mean that you can sell the clip to Joe Jerk Off for $3 a pop or do "Resale Rights" mean that you can sell to other web masters? Cuz I run a phone sex biz and have no desire to sell to other web mistress's.

My operators are kindergarden teachers, PhD Candidates, future senators... they don't want images of their faces or pussy online... So it helps to sell $4 clips to Joe Jerkoff so that he thinks he's jerking off to a super hot teen sex pot.

I COMPLETELY understand why someone would charge like ten times more if I was going to sell the content to other web masters but that's not what I want.

Only once when I have purchased content did I get a license that said "You can sell this content on the following websites (and there was a line for me to fill in the blank). Then both of us e-signed the agreement. Another time I've gotten verbal agreements (via email) that I could sell my content on Niteflirt.com or clips4sale and other phone sex sites.

I just don't want to burn anyone or be grossly overcharged for content because I am unclear about what I am asking for.

Is it up to the individual who is selling me the content? How do I know that they have the right to sell me the content? I know about model releases, 2257, photo ID but how do I know they are licensed to sell me the content in the first place?

A little help?

Is this a grey area?

I know that people are busy, but so many people have clicked on this but no one has replied. Surely, someone knows the answer or at least there is a general consensus? I would vote for 'no one gives a shit enough to explain to a new person,' but y'all are clicking but not typing so, I don't get it.

I don't know what it means in this case, I am new in this adult segment. I watched some contents being sold in here, and there was barely any licences mentioned, if any.

When you buy pictures from regular "picture bank" there is explanations for every different licence together with bible worth of legal text. Usually and in "common law" the rights include what you could reasonably suppose those to include. For example, when you buy Coke, you can safely assume that you then possess the bottle and the fluid inside it, but not the trademark rights for Coke. Same logic applies in here if nothing is mentioned regarding the licence.

However it is always safe bet to ask from the content provider what the particular licence means.

Read the licence carefully. If it's not detailed well. Ask questions.

Yes

You can't be 100% sure even from reputable sources. I've been scammed some times.

Buy from reputable sellers, discuss it with partners and do smaller purchases first.
