Pre-made contract for content producer ?
Hey folks! I always been wondering about xxx law. I mean, we can find tons of article about it, but it seem really unclear to me.
I was wondering if it exist an easy way to go. To be 100% safe regarding the law. Because a tons of xxx business have the same budiness model, meaning that they probably have the same kind of contract that they're actually use, (contract that their performer/actor/actress will sign.. So the company are safe and have now the right to use the content (video/photo) produced.. Same for the age verification, the contract are probably the same kind from company to company. So where do i get those contract ? I mean it will probably cost me much less money to have these contract slightly modified for my business, instead of paying the full price to have a contract made from A to Z... I'm from Canada by the way, law are probably a bit different but the way to go to be 100% safe regarding the law is probably similar to USA.. Many thanks !! |

Start here:
2257 Information https://www.2257services.net/forms.php 18 U.S. Code § 2257 - Record keeping requirements | LII / Legal Information Institute Basically you need: - model release - 2257 - 2 IDs for each model in the shoot (1 could be enough, but 2 makes it safer) These contracts aren't perfect and may need adjustments, but they give you an idea of what is needed. This guy got it reasonably right: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...5173109AAwc4VG I would highly suggest listing questions after reading these and consulting a lawyer. It'll help you in the long run and ensure you stay legal (some acts may be banned in your region). (*) I'm not a lawyer and all these infos are posted only as references for further reading. |

I'd be happy to share my model release form with you if you are interested.
It's a pretty solid contract from what I can gather. Email me if you want it. Dave dp.prod at yahoo .co.uk |

Keep the receipt for paid modelling fee. That will be at least as important as any contract/consent form. Without proof of payment your contract will be worthless.
