How to Monitize content...
I have been out of the loop for a few years so older posts don't apply as much as some sites have gone.
I'm looking to monetize both image and video content that I am and will be producing... What are the best ways to do that these days in 2015? 1. Paysites... 2. Licensing to others 3. VOD/Clipsforsale any other companies? Any other Ideas that come to mind? Thanks in Advance.

I use clips4sale because you get repeat customers who like to download and collect long term. It's also a good place to find custom orders to lower your overhead.
Figure out the selling point in your content and repeat it. I still would like to try a paysite and offer VOD because it was a successful model and worked back in the day. Elevated X and PornCMS seem to be popular if you go that route. It's just those shitty Mastercard and Visa charges that turn me off from the idea. 1000 dollars a year because we are high risk and smut dealers? Fuck that noise.

One caveat... i am NOT interested on brokered 2nd hand content or " porny" looking bimbo models, so if your models are model mania quality then we have something to talk about if not, then not... |

Great question.
Depends on your business model - if you are going to do a paysite then you want to hold onto your material and avoid letting the masses get it unless a customer pays. Strategic marketing via tube sites and limited licensing to VOD (like Clips4Sale, PPV models) will bring in a good stream of money. Content is king, if you have something that is hot and will sell i'd recommend a paysite - people always want something unique. If you are going to do generic content without some kind of hook i'd go all routes to recoup/profit. Thanks. Quote:
