Little question about using one website in two domains

Hello guys,

I have one website and I want to use two domains, something like this:
Code:
www.example123.com (long name)
www.e123.com (short name)
Whats the best method to make this work? And to have best SEO results... don't want to be affected by duplicated content.
And If I do this, what domain will appear on google search results? One of them or both?

Can someone please help me? Thanks

Have the preferred domain be the main site, then take the other domain and 302 it to the main domain.

Thank you buddy!

But isn't better to use 301 instead?

I have read this article:

If you're never going to do anything with the domain other than point at the main domain, go 301.

I'll offer this suggestion for you - we use short domains and custom domains based on different areas we advertise in. For example, tube sites we would use tricky short domains to attract the attention of the saturated freebee member bases to click us.

Just another thing to think about.
