How to make money from my mobile traffic?
The answer to this question is not for everybody the same, but lately we see more and more people struggling and complaining about their revenues from their mobile traffic. That's the reason I opened this thread.
There are a few ways to monetize your mobile traffic. The most known way is, is selling this to an adnetwork. You as a webmaster sells your traffic to an adnetwork and you will get paid by cpm. this is a very safe and easy way, cause there is nothing you need to do anymore. and you will get paid. You can now still focusing on what you do best and that is being a webmaster and attract traffic to your website, how more traffic you get, how more you will earn as you get paid by ecpm. Have you ever wondered what is actually happening with your traffic and how come you get paid by CPM? In fact the adnetwork bought your advertising space and they need to make sure they will reselling it to the right person. Likely for a better/higher price. They often sell this to people who are called 'mediabuyers' These mediabuyer are buying the space on your website and place there ad there. could be a popunder or banner for example. The next thing they need to do is make sure they make more revenue then the cost they make to advertize. That's actually where an affiliate network like Traffic Company comes in. These mediabuyers are sending this traffic to our offers. can be a direct offer or a smartlink and when their traffic converts, we pay the mediabuyer a certain CPA. Now I don't want to advertise here, cause everybody knows by now I'm from Traffic Company, but I just want to explain in most simple (not short) words what is happening. I have tons of thoughts about how people can optimise their traffic and trust me, I will never recommend to send 100% to Traffic Company, cause we are not always the best solution. If any one is interest in learning more or optimise traffic, shoot me a direct message. I am easy to find online :-) Cheers! |

Based on my experience I see every day, not everybody knows, but the reason I started this thread, is to open a discussion. There are so many angles from where you can open up the discussion regarding this topic, but I would like to hear some thoughts from others. I am sure there are people here stuggling as well.. |
