Strange problem?

I haven't worked on my site for ages as it's been just a side project so I'm a little out of touch/rusty.

Problem I'm having is when I update/edit a page and upload it to y host the changes aren't visible.

In the process of trying to figure out what I've done wrong I've tried the following -

Delete original file from host (file in question is the index.php), but even then the page still loads in 3 different browsers?

I've re-upped new file. No change.

Directory is correct and I can't think what else I could be doing wrong?

I've even tried 2 different ftp clients and same results?

Any ideas?

Thanks

OK I've just noticed if I check my directory going through cpanel the files I've upload don't appear. Any changes I make through that seem to work, but using Filezilla or WSFTP I can see the other files I upload, but any changes I make through those dont seem to match what I'm seeing through cpanel???

I'm really confused. What am I doing wrong?

Problem solved. My host had recently migrated servers and I had the old ftp address
