I'm looking to see if someone know how to make this possible.

I would like to make the menu section appear in the blue bar where the search field is instead of in the column.

Is that possible and how can it be done?

looks like those are just pages? just call the pages within that <div> of the template

it can be done.... and is easy....
If you want i can help you... hit me on ICQ... coz i need more details about your wp version and about the theme your are using... also i need to know... what you want to put in the sidebar... also i have some SEO tools to propose for your blog....

that's easy first you need to edit your theme.. put the "pages list code" on the header part and CSS that list so it'll look like nav links..

I actually had someone work on it for me but that person is unavailable to handle my request. I don't know anything about programing so I can't do it myself (don't want to fuck up my blog)
