Tracking PPC traffic?

I have not bought traffic in years because I have so much type in domain traffic. But if I wanted to track PPC traffic to conversions how do I do that? I know how on my own sites with my own products I install code on the members page. But when tracking conversions from different search engines to Adult Sponsors? How do you do it?

I know about setting up campaigns but if all of the traffic is going to my same site I am not sure how I would track each PPC Engine through my site to the Affiliate signup process?
Any good resources on this?

You could either use tracking URL`s (plenty of scripts available that let you use unique coded type URL`s so they can be set-up for different traffic types) and this is then captured in the refers of the respective sponsor (can vary depending on the affiliate software that the sponsor is using).

Another method (but a little excessive) is setting-up duplicate pages which you would target to the particular traffic you are buying. Also, some of the search engines allow you to set-up unique URL`s so you can accurately track the success (or not) of the clicked delivery.

Still a little fuzzy on this, Setting up duplicate pages I get. But if I have one main page will all sponsors I am now using campaigns for each sponsor Identifying the traffic from this main page. But how do I track what traffic source that page is making to the sponsor. Say PPC vs. Type in domain traffic?

Do some Google or hotscripts.com searches and you will find some affilate tracking scripts that allow you to track individual campaigns. Also check out the main forum here as another member raised a similar question about tracking traffic (http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=886724).
