Got a rather big flv file that i would like to split into several parts.

From the command line ('nix box) how do you usually split your flvs?

flv -> avi then split then avi ->flv

I use Moyea, it's a great program and not expensive at all.

Ditto. Works wonders, Allows you to make the video clickable to any URL you want.

ffmpeg does pretty much everything except for DRM codecs

I agree, FFMPEG, but it takes some getting used to if you're using it for the first time.... just google the tutorials.
