new vs. returning visitor ratio
ok so in checking out my google analytics stats and noticing my new visitors vs. my returning visitors ratio, i see 15% return visitors, i pretty sure thats not a great ratio to have but i'm curious as to to how others figure out if their ratio is up to par or needs work. i would assume the ratio could depend on many different variables such as traffic source as well as the type of audience the site is geared towards, i was wondering if anyone could help out by letting me know how they decide if their ratio is good or bad, also if you have a site it would be extra helpful if you let me know what the site is and it's ratio which you think is good or bad and why. thanks.

One thing to remember is that sales come from both. Depending on the site Returning may mean only freeloaders. Or it may be members signing in, and that is good. Just depends on the site.
