How Do I Process Memberships?

Hi I'm starting my first pay site and I need to know how do I accept payments and process memberships? I was going to use PayPal membership/subscription manager but it won't work with my webhost and as I luckly found out in time, PayPal doesn't allow porn sites (fuck them up their stupid asses).

So I want people to be able to make their payment and choose their username/password without any assistance from me. How can I do this FOR THE LEAST AMOUNT OF MONEY?

Use CCBill - their web address is www.ccbill.com and contact details are on there.
You fill out the contract, fax it off and once accepted, they provide the payment processing and password verification - you just install it on your server and it handles it all while you sleep

If you are going to be accepting Visa cards (which you really need to do)....I believe the cost is $750.00. To be sure, just contact CCBill and ask them.

$750? You gotta be shitting me! I don't have $750 to my name to say nothing about spending that much just to accept Visa.

There are quite a few other processors around here who do not charge the $750 visa fees, and have much lower processing rates.

Search around, I am sure you will find one who fits both your budget and expectations.

Good Luck!

use ccbill and do not accept the visa option - that will save you the 750, you can still take mastercard, 900# and online check I think

I have searched around and I didn't know what I was even looking for or what to look for in a processor, that's why I came here. I figured I'd ask the pros what they use.

You came to the right place and I think most of the replies you have had have backed up what I said at the start - CCBill.
If you have any problems with them you could speak to any of the other processor companies. A list of them can be found here:-

Good luck

ccbill will be of help to you.. no need to get into NATS or MPA3 if you're just starting.

helps to have visa but you can live without it to save the cost until you can afford to add them... otherwise try talking to other processing companies.. you can find a list of companies on xbiz or any other adult webmaster resource site.

Ok I'm in the process of setting up a CCBill account but I have to finish constructing my site first. Anyway, what is this stuff about a security deposit? Do I have to give them a shitload of money before I can get started or what? I read the whole terms and conditions thing but the section about the deposit was a little hard to understand (for me anyway).
