Wordpres - Absolute Paths

Hi, I wonder if someone could help!

I have a blog created in wordpress which contains galleries of usually 15 thumbs. When I submit to galleries websites, I always fail a 'Too many external links' test. I have managed to find a galery submission sites which shows the external links and there are 89......but these are not external links. Wordpress uses absolute paths for everything within my site. So when referencing the stylesheets it uses http, mydomain, etc. When you consider that there are 20 tags displayed as default on wordpress (all with absolute paths), 5 latest posts, 10 relative posts, etc, etc then you begin to see my problem :-(

So, there are less than the usual allowance of 10 external links, but everything within my site is referenced using absolute paths, exceding the maximum limit. Do you know if there is anything that can be done to change this?

Thanks very much for any help.

Hello,
Currently I have a similar issue that prevent me from gallery submission.

The solution I am performing is to create some static html clean pages containing a bunch of gallery pictures to be used only to make submissions.

The static pages can be put inside a folder/folder structure OUTSIDE the wordpress blog folder.

Hope this help.

Have you considered using a custom page layout for your galleries which cuts all but the necessary links from the displayed page? Shed the sidebar maybe, just link back to your home and maybe category pages?
