Aren't those military families getting mad money when the parent is working in a combat zone? Do they really need charity??

People can sure make donations to whoever they want to.

On Boxing Day can I just kick them out in the snow or is adoption permanent?

This is very admirable and noble. I second the motion.
Military families are not high income households, so it is awesome to help the kids... I donate to Toys 4 Tots every year. Here are some pics from this year's Lotus Run for the Marines Toys 4 Tots collection. http://adultwebmastergathering.com/t...s/IMAG0034.jpg Candi Apple helping me load the trunk up with toys! http://adultwebmastergathering.com/t...s/IMAG0028.jpg Trunk is packed full! http://adultwebmastergathering.com/t...s/IMAG0041.jpg Dirty D Santa? !!! http://adultwebmastergathering.com/t...s/IMAG0039.jpg The distribution center is HUGE! http://adultwebmastergathering.com/t...s/IMAG0042.jpg Lotus lined up for the run... http://adultwebmastergathering.com/t...s/IMAG0050.jpg Mine is the lowest :) |

I know a few military families. Some of them do really well because they manage their finances well. They have good credit and pay their bills on time and this helps them live a decent lifestyle. It's about money management. Although, other families may have lower ranking military members also, like privates, who are trying to pay all the bills. Those military families that are lower ranking and usually young really do usually have little money and helping them out would definitely be a nice thing to do. I have known a few military families with a PFC trying to pay all of the bills for a young family and they live at or below the federal poverty line.
