I want to discuss a very very disturbing ratio report but there has to be someone out there who is not so naive to believe that there ratio stats are always accurate!

If all of our ratios are down, is it so inconceivable that those who process our joins would also see reduction in revenue.

Is it also not logical, that they (processors) would have to close there doors before we do if ratios are in the toilet.

Just maybe, I mean just maybe, there is some sales skimming going on across the board.

Remember numbers don;t lie, and I would wager that if dropped some stats numbers here you all would be scratching your head saying how the fuck is that possible:)

I guess a ocmpany like KINK should have a very good lawyer.. come on guys.. you should really report and take down those suckers, hurting our ratios...

Easier to move revenue based promotion to capitalize upon live shows taking advantage of the existing traffic base and selling directly to all surfers.

In this new model, the recorded content is merely a side product not worth anything more than watermarked web fodder to increase the brand.

Many surfers don't really care for live shows though. We all talk about cams and such as being the solution to piracy but that's not fully true because of this. What percentage of surfers really want those things over traditional porn or are prepared to pay a premium for them? I'd be surprised if the number even approaches 20%. Believe it or not a certain percentage might even be turned off by the concept. Live content might be a way to reduce the effect of piracy but that doesn't mean it will still generate near the same revenue or have the same customer base.

My experiences show me that the average porn surfer is different than the cam/live show seeking surfer. The two don't seem to cross very well even when within the same niche. Conversions and CTR seems much better with cams when sticking to cam seeking traffic. If I put up cams to general porn seeking surfers the results seem quite dismal in comparison.

Every single cam sponsor I promote I got 0:30,000 while I still get paysite signups with a lot of work..

Sure, someone or you can say: "well. .your traffic is not cam related"...

56+k uniques, 1:6+k ratio, only 9 signups and it's already 2/3 of the month ...

Still bad. But I hardly care anymore. As of now they are getting 1500 uniques a month from me. If they start converting those I'll send them more.

What even bothers more is that there is no fast payment option. No paxum.So even if I make some money, I need to wait 40 days here for a check...fuck that.

I never had this many days with no signup and no rebill...

Could it be some sort of a problem with billing?

My test just now showed the standard Nats 10 day cookie for one of their sites. You might be on to something but I don't have any historical data for that.

I found this post where they deny ever having a 30 day cookie and tests then by others in July 2009 also show the 10 day cookie being present.

I've had consistent rebills with them for years, in Jan i lost 50% very odd, but I suppose it could be legit, just seems very wrong considering their great track record and rebill longevity.

Ive ben promoting bdsm and fetish sites since 03 and though it looks like spam as Wasteland is in my sig it is not. Ive promoted them all and the Spice Cash Wasteland site and other programs they offer has performed 10x better than all of them combined. (and I use them all) I worked for Colin at WL for awhile I dont currently but still promote his programs but as far as conversion ratios, retention, and aff support Ive never had better. I went froma huge promotor of amateur sites back in the make easy money days of the mid 90's especially with Wetlands into switching to the niche genere and nothing has been more consistent and steady as far as conversions and ratios than Wasteland and their sites.

I'm at 1:5400 with them. Used to be much better but I still have a few dozen rebills going so I don't plan to bail out. The man in pain stuff does ok for me as does kink on demand.
