On a side note, like Meta said, you have to work for free (and even then your work is rejected). I have to reject paid clients (top companies in business) because of lack of time. Life is unfair sometimes, people just don't have taste, you're right :(

There are a lot of assholes on GFY and i guess i must have rubbed them the wrong way, when i said i work for a top agency (mainstream). Why would I lie about that?

The work I did is a poor example of what I am capable of, but producing a static page like that in 6 hours, I personally think, is a good effort... but some would disagree.

I do have examples of work, but I'd rather keep my id personal on this forum. However, I think i'm more determined now, to make a meands and tear down my first attempts at porn and build something truly respectable with jQuery and Codeignitor.

So to cut the long story short... what type of sites in your opinions, constitute as good design? I'd like to see some examples.
