You're being ripped off with the stringy rubbish.

The ONLY way to do bacon is to buy a pig and get the fucker butchered yourself. Paying $5/pack for that garbage they sell at the grocery store is a joke. The bacon snob has it correct. There is nothing more irritating than sifting through a stack of bacon looking for a "decent" looking pack, getting home and finding out you have a giant slab of fat to fry.

My family gets our bacon from the Hutterite colony now. My old man has deals worked out with them for all sorts of shit. We get our chicken/turkey from them, mos tof our pork products now too. They have a tendency to throw in a couple bottle sof Chokecherry wine that'll knock you off your feet too.
