Just hit $3.90 a gallon in Connecticut.

Tam 03-03-2011 08:15 AM

It's like $3.06 here in Kentucky.. but thank god I traded in the Jeep for a Civic last year.. a tank of gas will last me almost 2 weeks.... that and I work from home, so I don't have the daily driving to deal with. Otherwise, it'd kick my ass.

If we have to use the truck, I think it costs $20 just to start that damn thing. It gets about 12 miles to the gallon.... we only use that when we need hay for the horses or to haul something. :upsidedow

Soon we'll be walking about and start smelling gas from people's breath ;-)

P.S. $3.69 for Premium here.

CPimp 03-03-2011 08:48 AM

$3.49 for 87 Octane here, that's in Mid-Ohio.

Was $2.99 not even 10 days ago. Emails I get say it's not going to go down anytime soon either. Plan to see $4 a gallon gas again!

Fiddler 03-03-2011 09:06 AM

132.9p per litre where I am in South West London!

Honez 03-03-2011 09:22 AM

It was $3.17 a gallon here in Denver yesterday. Of course I picked this year to get rid of my small 4 banger SUV and buy a freakin' truck. ::sigh::

You're paying for freedom in the ME. So it's all fine. LOL

Seriously the problems in the ME could lead to a lot hight gas prices.

BittieBucks Eric 03-03-2011 09:49 AM

On average about $2.17/liter
that's in the Netherlands

Where the hell do you get your gas? That's a major rip-off :1orglaugh

The average is about Euro 1.55-1.56/liter

Yep, sometimes we actually tip the guy at the gas pump more than it costs to fill the tank hehe.
But we have the highest inflation in the world though.

Shane_2ptoh 03-03-2011 10:29 AM

Ireland

1.47 euro a litre

works out at 3.78 USD a gallon.

As Jimmy from South Park said in his stand up sketch.

"after the Iraq invasion, Iraq fell, Saddam fell. The only thing that didn't fall was the price of gas"

Has little to do with freedom in Middle East IMO.

Libia does around only 2% of the world's oil production, the Saudi's do over 23% and can even raise the No. of oilbarrels per day if needed. Opec says there's enough stock worldwide anyway.

Media spread the oil news, I am sure oil companies and governments won't mind this....biggest part of gas prices are taxes and after all the last 2 years of bailouts they sure need to get their fingers on those extra billions.

webchris 03-03-2011 12:08 PM

$6.70 / gal

loreen 03-03-2011 02:05 PM

Holy mother of cars, Fabian :)

i guess the proper question would be how much do you pay for gas in your country and what's the minimum wage there ? (i think that's the point loreen wanted to make).

I am from Romania, i spend on gas monthly more than a teacher earn and that's not becouse i like to drive my car it's becouse economy is realy fucked up.
Oh well on the other hand fuck with economy as long as i get paid in dollars and euros and my income > than expences (wich are in local curency), i am ok

SubAms 03-03-2011 04:05 PM

Yes, but its not a standard one.

It's the strongest non-turbo V8 in existence currently.

The normal 6.3l AMG, for example in the current E63, has 525hp and 630Nm. The 6.3l AMG in the SLS has 571hp and 650Nm.

Oracle Porn 03-03-2011 04:58 PM

amazing car, color doesn't do it justice :)

HomerSimpson 03-03-2011 07:19 PM

about ~ €1.15 to €1.20 / L in here

TurboAngel 03-03-2011 08:25 PM

It's $3.69 here today but that can change over night.

:(

Yes it is..

@oracle, I think alubeam is one of the few colors that actually makes it look timeless and beautiful... Taste in the end of course... But most others I find boring after a few days... Was thinking about red first, but red gets annoying fast...

What color would you take?

Emil 03-04-2011 03:07 AM

About ~$2/liter.

cooldude7 03-04-2011 03:09 AM

1.378074 U.S. dollars / liter for regular
1.444755 U.S. dollars / liter for premium.

I really find it hard to believe you're paying 1.75 / litre when the average price over here is about 20 cents/litre lower than that.

Either white or perl white most likely, red might get boring fast :)
