Just an update on speed, could people please perform some searches and paste the result speed as indicated in the upper right hand side of the results page ?

We would like to work out if there is a geographic issue affecting speed.

I added my site "danaughty" and still doesn't seem to be on there :(

Are you also funneling all the links or will this give me a link as well?

Congratulations with your new porn search engines.

It can take time between the site is crawled and the time it is indexed, there are so many factors affecting this that it would be difficult to explain them all. Very much like when Google first visits a site and then places it in a queue to be indexed later. Give it time, it will appear.

None of the search engine result links will help with SEO as no other web robots may crawl the index, could you imagine the horribly recursive effects of google crawling yahoo or bing search results ? The same applies, no search engines have access to search results.

Both site's submit is stuck in a loop, and won't timeout (for me).

By making all links to pimproll and then redirect will make your site/search engine look like a link farm to pimproll and penalize it :2 cents:

The RSS links are seperate from the search engine itself. They are just fill for the remainder of the site so there isn't just a search form.

In the final product there will be something else below the search form, but I am not saying what that will be at this point.

We don't care if the site isn't indexed in Google or has a bad ranking, we will be promoting the final site using other means.

We are at a very early stage in this process, stay tuned, we have great plans for the final site.

Our programmers have found a way to make site submissions faster and our database engineers have sped up the searches.

Somebody asked me privately whether we would be willing to ban sites, like those that Manwin run from our index. I'm personally not comfortable with banning on the basis of anything other than clearly illegal content, but it's an interesting discussion, what do you all think ?

I guess the issue is , where do you draw the line.

It's easy to make the decision to ban blatantly illegal sites, eg: kid stuff

but do you really want to censor content on the basis of whether you like something or not because of the business ethics or lack thereof of Manwin, or whoever else ?
