I just had to provide a birth certificate and immunization record in order to register my daughter for kindergarten, shouldn't we at least expect this as a prerequisite for the most powerful position in America?

The fact that he's producing one now after all of the scrutiny he's had to endure while in office, sure makes one wonder why there wasn't a little more effort put forth to get this out earlier.

It is a copy, even if it doesn't look like it... otherwise you couldn't request a copy of your original, and they couldn't stamp it and cert that it's real without the real one to copy.

Edit: You can request a new cert (with proof of course) from the local Courthouse, Hospital or State if they can not find the record. One of the 3 appear to be the keepers of certs for those of us born normally.
