I guess Bonzo doesn't understand that when the UN is constantly letting you break international law, that when other countries simply look away as you assassinate state heads and nuclear scientists, that when laws are passed for censorship blocking hateful materials against you but not blocking any hateful materials against non-Jews it means they must be hated.

Her parents must be dead or very progressive. its pretty cool that you can both respect each others beliefs. many can't seem to. however, and this is just my personal belief, that your son should be able to call himself jewish without having to go through whatever rituals. being jewish is not just about religion after all.
