I've always kind of felt that the people who most want to throw their power around like that are exactly the kind of people you DON'T want in charge of something like .XXX ... I wouldn't buy these domains no matter WHO ran the company, but from what I've seen so far of the current situation it's less than optimal.

I have spoken both parties at the show about this 'drama'.

I believe them it was a combination of beer, and dutch/italian temperament colliding with the German temperament. Like a bump in a disco can end in a fight when there is too much alcohol involved. If you start an interesting drunk conversation at 2:00 and both are a little bit irritaded you can see some things less clear. But they worked it out when they get sober the next day and had a good talk.
