I think .xxx is a self-serving wolf in sheep's clothing candy-coated to appear as an industry-friendly service. The bells and whistles they've been boasting about are pacifications during their launch phase to hush the non-believers long enough to sink their teeth into the earth as much as possible.

Then again, that's assuming they aren't already fucked due to an impending lack of support after sunrise.

If the opposers want to make some effect, they need to focus on making ppl understand their reasoning, cause currently I don't think most ppl do, and plain "fuck .xxx" just won't do enough.

My whole opinion on .xxx changed when i heard that icann was going to be opening up the tlds and people will be able to register .whatever and we will very likely see .sex .adult .porn etc... that totally devalues any value that .xxx would have by being the "one and only" adult domain. Now they will be just another one, making them irrelevant.

I guess the people from ICANN that took the kick backs and finally put this threw fucked Stuart by knowing that they would be opening it up to everyone shortly after.
