Everyone where I was raised listened to rap. I still prefer the older stuff to the newer stuff.

I only listen to rap occasionally anymore, usually on the ride home from work. I kind of enjoy the collabs and when they have artists rapping on other peoples songs but you won't catch me quading out to that prada song with my windows down at a red light lol. :1orglaugh

BTW, I hate most of the "real shit."

Different strokes for different strokes.

Everybody knows how to find the obscure shit, most people don't like it.

My neighbor is always trying to push obavure shit on me.

The only time I leave mainstream is for my EDM.

Check out my friend's Black Gold LP. It's Wu Tang Vs Hendrix. He's remade the Wu beats using all samples of Hendrix. He did the same with The Beatles Vs Wu Tang a couple of years ago.
