i m sure you will understand me if you think a bit what i m talkin about.

btw. most of the problems we live in Turkiye are because of our state that you may not know.

i don't wish to be government abolished in Turkiye at all, our society's nor education neither the welfare level is ok for that, what i was talkin about is kinda globally balance that mechanism some where.

if you lived here for ever and saw how how politissions lied easyly and make it sound like real, you would go crazy.

David cameron said the intelligence services and the police were exploring whether it was "right and possible" to cut off those plotting violence.

Texting and blackberry messenger are said to have been used by some during this week's riots.

Rights groups said such a measure would be abused and hit the civil liberties of people who have done nothing wrong.

The prime minister told mps the government was exploring the turn-off in a statement made to the house of commons during an emergency recall of parliament.

Mr cameron said anyone watching the riots would be "struck by how they were organised via social media".

He said the government, using input from the police, intelligence services and industry, was looking at whether there should, or could, be limits on social media if it was being used to spread disorder.

Under social media, mr cameron includes facebook, twitter and specific technologies such as text messaging. The semi-private bbm messaging system on the blackberry is said to have been widely used during the riots.

Home secretary theresa may is believed to be meeting representatives from facebook, twitter and rim (maker of the blackberry) to talk about their obligations during times of unrest.

If the UK was like the USSR all the children and teenagers would be in holiday camps on the Black Sea, not burning down the cities.

Also they would have free education and grants to study.

Full employment and apprenticeships....

No, the model our gov is following is the USA...

Wow.

I guess the UK is really becoming more like the middle east after all.

Explanations are not excuses....

To make mindless comments does not help but in fact causes more problems as we see the gov using it to increase repression

I think I touched on this last night when I enlightened everyone the Poverty stricken, socially deprived yet Riot free City that I live in. Oh consumerism?? We too have leafy suburbs.

While not as crass as the "they're scum" brigade, You're also guily of simplifying things by relying on Poverty and deprivation.

Maybe your both right.

Governments should be stopped somewhere, i wish all those son of bitch politissions and burocrats got a big fuck of like this, fuckin ass holes.

we need one like this in Turkiye too, but unfortunately most of our people are sheeps, so i don't expect it to be happen here soon.

Its not funny at all when there is a complete break down in law and order. How would you like to have your business/house set on fire, car smashed up and robbed and no police to turn up and help

Shop owners and staff were calling police while they were in the shops with 100s of people smashing thier way in, then taking what they wanted. The police never turned up, Some of them were threatened and some of them hid and some of them got out through back windows. It might look like fun seeing it on the TV or in films but its not

PenisFace 08-11-2011 03:44 PM

I say shut down social networking sites just because the number of morons on them makes me lose faith in humanity. In other news, vote Stalin!

As someone who has lost a home to a fire (years back, due to an accident, not a crime) i can really feel for those people fired out of their houses. Losing a house must be the worst thing that can happen to you short of losing a loved one. I'm in two minds about this, it would make sense to shut down local twitter/facebook/ect access during times like we have seen in the last few days BUT the process is so open to govenmental abuse that it's really a difficult one to call.

Yeah all these riots have only helped in creating more of a "police" state and they are allready bringing in new powers. I know they dont want to shut them down permanently, only when there is social unrest but it is wide open to abuse just like we have seen with the newspapers, police and politicians.

These riots are going to change a lot of things over here and most of it for the worst. I think the goverment got a real wake up call that it is so easy for the people to bring down law and order and the government if they really wanted to and it has frightened the shit out of them

halfpint 08-11-2011 04:17 PM

I am wondering what is going to happen when they take all the police back off the city centers because we can not afford to keep so many on the streets for a long period of time. Half of the people who are going to court think its a big joke.
Most of them are getting legal aid which will put a huge strain on legal aid funding plus the cost of the courts staying open 24 hours to fast track them through the legal system, and the strain on the prisons which are allready full. Its one big fuck up

Scott McD 08-11-2011 04:34 PM

Yes but according to some on here "fuck the police, yeah"

Fucking idiots!

Agent 488 08-12-2011 03:28 AM

yeah the bankers and corporations and politicians over the last few years have looted and destroyed your economy and made sure you and your great-grandchildren will be saddled with endless debt yet you get worked up over some louts who broke a window and stole a cell phone. sounds legit.

Agent 488 08-12-2011 03:48 AM

or: when the people in charge of your country act like bandits and criminals it is no shock the yob in the street does as well.

Cherry7 08-12-2011 03:49 AM

Tonight we have with us Scott McD

Why are some punks trying to trash their own country anyway?

Because they are the scum of the earth...

What about people who talk about poverty, social inequality, consumerism

idiot not even worth a reply

What do you say to those critical of the Police?

Fucking idiots!

Thank you very much,

Next week Scott McD will be talking about Lacanian psychoanalysis.

The UK already has CCTV everywhere. link
London alone has over 7000.

as well as some of the major cities in the US
like San Francisco and Boston, although no where near as many

You think why is thiis happening? and the best you can come up with is that by some accident of genetic "scum" is born in a certain area and certain time.

Or is it a way of not thinking? maybe because thinking hurts...

And when others give
rational reasons why, poverty, social inequality, consumerism

Does that make you angry ?

These looters, do they not get:

free education
free health
free housing (where applicable)
benefits, including cash
free job training schemes

?

At some point, you have to take responsibilty for your own actions. I have been: homeless (at 16), addicted to drugs, banged up inside, an alcoholic. That's just for starters, I won't get into the nastier stuff.

Guess what I, and thousands of others in similar situations did/do every fucking day? Said 'fuck this', and did something about it. In this country, there is *always* a way out of a shit life, and don't give me any bollocks about 'oh but trapped in this that or the other blah blah'. I've been there, done that, got the fucking t-shirt.

Fact 1: I was scum
Fact 2: These looters are scum
Fact 3: They *do* have a way out, if they really want to work for it.

Is it hard to do, especially with such a hindrance right from the get-go? Yup, of course, but that isn't a reson not to bother in the first place.

Fuck excuses, fuck wanting someone else to hand you a way out, and fuck people who have never experienced being at the truly shit end of life in the UK babbling on about how it's inescapable.

Jel 08-12-2011 05:03 AM

ps, cunts move from the authorities too, blaming a form of communication, idiots.

free education

Yes, but it will be piss poor and you will quickly see that you will be at the bottom of heap.

free health

Yes but you will not get the same level of treatment as the middle classes.

free housing (where applicable)

Yes, with piss in the lifts, the wrong postcode and police there every night

benefits, including cash

Enough to exist but not to even visit the city centerer or have a normal life

free job training schemes

NO JOBS

And yes people should try and escape the bad hand life has dealt them, there is no excuse for attracting other poor people in much the same situation.

But our MP for Tottenham, who was put in place against the will of the local labour party, Has done Fuck all for this area. The Schools are disgrace while he supports wars in Iraq etc... There are no book shops, cafés, no decent housing, the last thing that was done here was the Victoria Line.

This is one of the richest countries in the World and always it fails to look after the people.

So they want more, more, more.

Looks like the poor have more in common with the rich than they would like to admit.
