because it's all about FAITH.

Millions upon millions of people will go to their death beds believing in god and jesus, and where is the physical evidence?

It's not needed. They will believe what they want to believe, and in reality there are historical documents referencing Jesus which would indicate he probably did exist.

I was speaking about the perception of something and making it real. You can use UFO's as an example. Millions of people believe in extraterrestrial visitations WITHOUT physical evidence (or at least none that we are aware of) but the amount of sightings and video/photo evidence of UFO's is sufficient to make an argument, and sufficient enough for worldwide belief in the idea of aliens visiting our planet.

That has been the problem all along and continues to this day.

Silly question.

No, there wasnt.

The fact that people still wonder about this crap in this day and age astounds me.

The people that made all this shit up 2000 years ago also thought the earth was flat.

Redrob 12-26-2011 12:11 AM

The Earth could be flat if space is curved.:upsidedow

Why is time linear?

The Vatican has a Warrant that was issued by the Romans for his arrest.

MPGdevil 12-26-2011 08:06 AM

I do beleive he existed and probably knew more about medicin and healing than others of his time.

The Bible and other religios books consist of 99% exaggerated storytelling though.

the man did exist as a man there is not doubt about it.....

I have the Jesus action figure

the question if is he was the Son of God or not

according to the catholics Jesus said in the cross "Father, forgive these people, they don;t know what to do" something like that

satanists says he said: "FATHER, have you forsaken me?"

who knows what he said in the cross.... nobody

nikki99 12-26-2011 12:53 PM

Maybe, maybe not.

But how about the idea of loving your fellow man?

I believe right wingers of any denomination and several parts of both the new and old testament are against it.

What is that conclusion based on?

Did Mohammed exist?

Did you read the post I quoted?

It's way more feasible that Mohammed existed than Jesus.

Where in the Bible does it say to not love your fellow man?

Yeah I read it, what does his post have to do with anything? Why do you feel it is more feasible that Mohammed existed than Jesus?

Depends on your definition of "love".

There are the words of Mohammed everywhere, saved supposedly through posterity in their original form. Where is the officially recognized gospel of Jesus in his own words and not quoted by someone else or his stories in his own words, also not related by someone else?

uno 12-26-2011 10:29 PM

I doubt anyone doubts the existence of Joseph Smith, even though he's a much closer temporal 'descendant' of sorts.

NETbilling 12-27-2011 12:56 AM

Yes and I believe in the tooth fairy too

Evil1 12-27-2011 02:34 AM

Im sure there was, much like there were witches in massachusetts in the 1600's.
