				 | The first system I owned was an Atari 2600, upgraded to a 7800, and then when Nintendo was being advertised it was like the world had changed! If you had a Nintendo, you were kid's house that had their basement filled with all the other neighborhood kids. |

				 | I was in the SuperNES generation. Never played the old 8bit system. I remember having an Atari when I was little, and playing that stupid adventure game with the dragons and keys in 3 rooms. It was a bunch of squares that beeped and buzzed, but it may have well been Uncharted back then.

				 | I spent many hours playing Bond on N64 along with Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball. I remember it was pretty advanced at that time, first console (and I think game) to split the screen into four player and have them interact.

have any of you hear of the angry video game nerd? He does video reviews of old school nintendo games mostly. They are pretty funny because he freaks out quite a bit. As most of us often forget those games, as good as they were, were also EXTREMELY hard to play and even harder to finish, usually took weeks if not months to finish without help.

The only reason I still have a Wii, the ability to download the old NES, SNES and N64 games. But, if you stop in the middle of playing, it remembers exactly where you are. So games like Metroid, where you couldn't really save, you can stop anywhere, and pick right back up where you left off. No more uninterrupted 72 hour game sessions.

				 | Old NES game I played when I was a kid, first person sort of deal, move the crosshairs around on the screen and shoot the bad guys as they pop up. I still remember how blown away I was by that. I think it was called Cabal, or Kabal or something like that. Was to young to remember any details other than shooting guys arcade shooter style.

				 | Anyone own a Dingoo? Looks like a fun toy. http://www.dealextreme.com/p/dingoo-...-mini-sd-20217 I've tried to play games on my phone but the touchscreen make it very hard and not even fun.

				 | This thread made nostalgic, so I got the SNES emulator for my Android phone. After playing a few games, I said to myself, "Oh yeah. Even though games seemed good at the time, they really sucked donkey dick compared to today." I'm not just talking about the obvious things like graphics, but even the science of game design was no where near as matured as it is today.

				 | Was just watching the kids playing the latest release of Zelda! They grew up watching, and learning how to navigate temples....I love the whole series. I started with Pitfall, and the rest was history The first computer game was Frontier something or another, I was at school and fell in love with the cmd prompt. Just looked it up , Oregon Trail, crazy shit |

				 | 91' Giants, Phil Simms, Mark Bavaro, Dave Megget, L.T., Pepper Johnson; that team was awesome. I think there was a glitch in that game though because if you picked a team that had the flea flicker in their playbook you could dominate whoever. |
