Even at $150 monthly it kicks new sites in the nuts to fork over that kind of money. I would entertain later on perhaps but if I am starting a new site with the server cost+ a monthly CMS cost it reaches too deep into my operating costs.

The monthly fee for the CMS and optional features factors in the software plus the cost of providing our customers with free support. Part of the monthly fee also covers ongoing development so we can update the CMS as often as we do to keep our customers' sites secure and add new features and improvements constantly.

Paying for this may not make sense for a brand new site on a shoestring budget but many businesses find that it's well worth it over the long term.

If you're interested in multiple add-ons for the CMS let me know and we can offer you a discount.

Not looking to anger anyone, but if you cannot afford to spend $150 a month on a CMS, you are no where near ready to open a pay site. I would suggest you concentrate all of your efforts on building a traffic base and build a bankroll selling the traffic to affiliate programs or brokers.

imho

cms is nothing but a good tube script, if your content has videos.
so find a good tube script and limit it to only registered members.

Don't reinvent the wheel on this one... go with Wordpress... get your shit up asap....and start making money!

You got checks to cash... you ain't got time to find other CMS's.

If you are looking at cost saving initially, get a cms such as pornCMS, and then once you grow to a point where you need every bell and whistle (and can pay for it), then go for elevatedX.

That's not exactly what I am saying...I have nothing against elevatedX or any CMS programs. I currently use another CMS solution that I have become disenchanted with. My point was for a start up paysite that may have some traffic and to get some really useful tools that ElevatedX offers may take up a good percentage of your budget. What percentage of your monthly income should go to a CMS provider? If you are spending $250-400 a month for a dedicated server, $400 month for traffic, and $250 a month for CMS that adds up to about $900-1050 a month just in operating costs. If your site is only producing $1500-$2000 a month(I know small money) that is 50% going out the door to providers. Realistically what do you think the operating costs of a web business should be? 25%? I'm curious. CMS is definitely helpful but what solution would you recommend?

Ease of use - Wordpress or Joomla

Want to own the world? Drupal

All 3 are free. If you can provide support to yourself, that is.
