Like it or not, their business model has forever changed this industry, get used to it. Someone will gladly take their place, and those users who relied on megaupload will find it before they find your site and buy a subscription. :)

Great article. Sure I could pirate games off Pirate Bay, but instead I buy them off Steam because the prices are good, it's easily accessed, and I can buy the games that are good. I could also pirate just about any movie out there, but I like the convenience of Netflix and their delivery system...their price is still pretty good as well.

So when it comes to porn....If I want to buy a membership to some place, oh wait...all the shit is the same why the fuck would I want to buy a membership? And if I did, what can I look forward to? My credit card charged multiple times? Having to go through tons of bullshit to cancel my membership? Getting access just to discover there is hardly any movies or good pictures like the tour showed?

I'll be one of the few that gives an honest answer. My traffic has gone way up in the last couple days, but sales have stayed the same.

alot of porn surfers have it in their mind that porn is free, If Sopa passes, and most tubes went legit. pirate sites are shut down etc. it's still going to take a while for people to accept the fact that porn isn't free. sales will never again be like before, but of corse they can be better than they are now.

I respectfully disagree. Same happened with piracy in my country back in 99. Before this it was a mecca for pirates and nobody ever payed for an original CD you could pirates on every street corner. Just one year later most of the sales in my country were legit, simply because all the old and trusted places went under and the new "wannabies" did not have enough "traffic" and new content to make a decent living.

It's not going to take a while, its going to take a few hard on-s and a credit card lying around...users are spoiled and lazy and will take the easy way out=pay 30$
