If you think the people who use those sites are too dumb to sniff out the free tubes you most likely have your head so far up your ass you have to unzip to see where you are walking.

None of the file lockers ever bought my content - several tube sites while going legit did though.

And: i have submitted promotional videos to tube sites and made sales from them - which even rebilled several times.

so if you ask me what i prefer...

SOPA failed the intentions were right but the powers were WAY beyond reasonable.
There is a need both in mainstream and adult to stop the file sharing and this is for once Adult is going to benefit from mainstream and not the other way around.

Megaupload showed that its still possible to take down file sharing sites under the current laws and it have other sites getting very scared, I laugh when I see them limit access for some countries but it won't help them.

I like the Dutch guy Euker or whats his name trying to take down LeaseWeb they are one of the biggest bad guys, Mega had 600+ servers with them, he have posted proof they have the bad thing, porn and a shit load of other stuff there that illegal and they don't care. LeaseWeb don't give a fuck about anything but their bottom line.
Taking down LeaseWeb will be big, do a search how my torrent sites are hosted there! If you are a player help take down LeaseWeb.

Good luck on that. They follow Dutch law to my understanding, and they have the deep pockets to fight it legally if they wanted. I am not saying their business model is right or wrong, but they are located in the Netherlands, and simply capitalize on Dutch laws or loopholes.

Mininova was Dutch based and we got them closed down. You probably won't shut down Leaseweb itself but you can shutdown trackers that host their.

Why bother with this scary SOPA thing, if current laws can be used to stop sites like Megaupload?

Uploading still looks like it is up. I've had content I've been trying to get removed there for two weeks now. I tried to send them DMCA but their DMCA submit form is broken (intentionally?) and Paypal are severely dragging their feet in their "investigation". At one point last week Paypal told me all links have been removed, yet, I clicked on all the same links in the email I sent them and every single one still worked. Been waiting days for them to get back to me again.

It's only their affiliate program that is closed, meaning much less new uploads in the future but all the old links are up and running, at least for now.

And yes they're one of the worst when it comes to handling DMCA take down requests. I send all uploading.com links to RYC because they wouldn't respond to our regular DMCAs (RYC can take those links down).

Filepost affiliate program is closed too.

You make that up yourself, just like the owners of Wikipedia. "us guys" want to stop sharing of the intellectual properties of others. Nobody has anything against people sharing their own art, made by themselves.

Practice what you preach, I hear Zombaio is processing credit card payments for piracy sites and that reports of this to your support desk are being ignored.

And legal action against LeaseWeb is in the pipeline, as well as other action, nothing ilegal, just some innocent sharing and publication of private information.

LeaseWeb lost a few law suits regarding torrent sites and claim they are not hosting torrent sites anymore, so reporting torrent sites to them may be enough for them to kick them off (they are not aware of the content of all their servers). See this article, it's in Dutch, use google translate to translate to English:

LeaseWeb fed up with bit torrent sites
