The State creates and maintains the conditions for capitalism to function.

It schools a workforce for both McDonald's and for Hi Tech businesses

The poor pay far more in proportion in taxes than the business owners who live in a form of communism where they can have what ever they want.

A woman has a right to be able to control her body.

A woman who raises children is doing the most important job there is, replacing the workforce with a new one.

When you are drooling in a home it will be her children creating the wealth to feed you.

What we should do is sterilize ever one who owns more than say a million dollars so that no wealth is pass on and there is true social mobility.

The long term cost of unwanted pregnancy is horrendous, that much I know. Throwing a bandaid like free birth control at it to reduce it is probably a good idea.

Yes we have
Planned Parenthood
Which the Gov gives Lots of Money to for this very reason also.

I am for giving out free BC, just not forcing a company to do it!

I don't remember reading that in the Constitution. Here my government is forcing insurance companies into this shit which results in my health insurance increasing. Government needs to get the fuck out of private business.

I don't think people should have the right to get skiing and other voluntary sports accidents covered by insurance. All it does it drive up the costs of my coverage.

I've known dozens of idiots who have had sports accidents costing $50k, 100K, 125K to get fixed - and I have to pay for it.

I've never had a major sports accident requiring hospitalization - and i was a martial arts addict for years. Why should I pay for other people who are careless and shouldn't be messing about in things they aren't prepared for?

I have relatives - one rich asshole smashed into a tree skiing and the whole thing cost over 200K, the other family has a kid who has had over 500k in proceedures for fucking rugby injuries. Rugby - you've got to be kidding, right - no, fucking rugby in college.

You get the government to outlaw voluntary sports coverage, make people pay extra for that shit, keep the costs of it off my insurance, and I'll support your otherwise unfair desire to keep women from getting birth control paid for by insurance.

I also agree - we should give birth control out freely, pills should be an over the counter medication, but you have to pay and get licencsed to have kids.

Heres a recent article arguing for over-the-counter birth control pills.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-0...a-postrel.html
Contrary to widespread belief, there?s no good reason that oral contraceptives -- a far more effective form of birth control -- can?t be equally convenient.

True, making the pill available over the counter could reduce the amount of outrage and invective available for entertaining radio audiences, spurring political fundraising and otherwise amusing the American public. But the medical risks are quite low.

Partly because birth-control pills are available only by prescription, people tend to think they?re more dangerous and less well understood than they actually are. In fact, ?more is known about the safety of oral contraceptives than has been known about any other drug in the history of medicine,? declared an editorial in the American Journal of Public Health back in 1993. That editorial accompanied an article arguing for over-the-counter sales.

Big bad Obama standing up for Women...

I agree with anything that makes any church have to get up some of its money... actually, I don't think a church should be allowed to make any profit, all money should be given back to the community... god simply doesn't need it.

P.S. If a women qualifies for assistance, she qualifies for birth control - but not if she is a member some churches, as they take that "social" responsibly, to ensure her choices are 'correct' in the name of that religion.

ahhhh, the idiot speaks.
funny how some people in this industry have no concept of the first amendment.

The stupidest move mankind has EVER made was to stop natural selection and make rich, successful people pay for other peoples irresponsible breeding.

If you are poor and can not afford to fully finance your family= you do not deserve to have a child at the expense of somebody else period!

I would introduce mandatory jail for poor parents who have kids and cant pay. Hard labor stuff. The kids I would give away for adoption. I would not blink about sending them to jail, like they do not blink about taking other peoples money. These parasites do not give 2 shits about society and live under the illusion the world owes their stupidity something. They are IMO worse scum than criminals, because criminals, at least, actually go and do some work (crime).

This birth control stuff is like curing cancer with an aspirin. The problem is not in birth control, it is in human greed and lazyness and politicians scoring easy points with the bible slapper skitzos...

Shit id make it mandatory to get sterilized before you take your first welfare check....

That's just the tip very tip of the iceberg, though. We chose a health plan that we can afford (barely) parky because it doesn't convert acupuncture, aromatherapy, and a lot of other crap. We had the freedom to decide what coverage we wanted to buy. We're nite allowed to keep it after 2012 because Obama and the interest groups lobbying in Washington don't longer it. They are telling us we must pay 50% more for a policy that covers acupuncture and crap. Urned a freedom issue, an issue of whether you and I make our own decisions or if Washington runs our lives.

It's like the other guy said. You can pay now for free birth control, or you can pay later for more jail cells and more welfare checks.

The smart choice strikes me as being painfully obvious.

That wasn't true in her day. It was a woman's obligation to please her husband when he asked. And so a man can have sex all he wants, but it's up to the woman to abstain to avoid pregnancy? Come on...

Easy/cheap birth control was the catalyst that enabled women to enroll at post-secondary institutions and focus on careers because they could choose to put off motherhood until later. If you want to remove women from the workplace and especially management positions, go ahead and remove the access to birth control.

When you consider that nowadays people can't even go fishing or sell pretzels on a street corner without a permit; what you say makes perfect sense.

Of course, such a law would be totally unenforceable short of adopting the sort of measures that Chairman Mao favored.
